Chap.1 Rather than being desperate for God we need to be in love with Him. Chap. 2 Check your receiver: Eph1:1-3 ”Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavens” Heb 13:5 “He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you.” Ps. 51:10-12 “God, create a clean heart for me and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not banish me from Your presence or take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore the joy of Your salvation to me, and give me a willing spirit.” Matt. 28:12 “And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.(world)’ In the army he discovered it’s much easier to defend a position than to take a new one.1John 4:17 “In this, love is perfected with us so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, for we are as He is in this world.” Eph. 1:19 “and what is the immeasurable greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the working of His vast strength.” Fight to defend the healing you already have. Chap 3. Accepted and enlightened Eph. 1:4-6 ”For He chose us in Him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love, He predestined us to be adopted through Jesus Christ for Himself, according to His favor and will, to the praise of His glorious grace that He favored us within the Beloved.” Eph.1:17-19 “I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the perception of your mind may be enlightened so you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the glorious riches of His inheritance among the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the working of His vast strength.” Eph. 1:8-9 “that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure that He planned in Him” We should not only trust our 5 senses but also the lead of the spirit. Chap. 4 His power in you. Eph 1:20-23 “ He demonstrated this power in the Messiah by raising Him from the dead and seating Him at His right hand in the heavens far above every ruler and authority, power and dominion, and every title given, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put everything under His feet[b] and appointed Him as head over everything for the church, which is His body, the fullness of the One who fills all things in every way.” We have power over the devils attacks. We are commanders not beggars, and have power like Peter in Acts3:6. We have 3 parts: spirit, soul and body-1Thes. 5:23 ”Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely. And may your spirit, soul, and body be kept sound and blameless for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” IF 2 parts agrees, you soul and spirit, they will dominate. Thus let your logic and feelings have a lesser role. Be positive, wipe away those tears, John 8:32 ”You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” He has done many miracle healings, so use Eph. 1:17-23 and 3:16-21 “I pray that He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power in the inner man through His Spirit, and that the Messiah may dwell in your hearts through faith. I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love, and to know the Messiah’s love that surpasses knowledge, so you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
Chap. 5 By Grace through Faith. If you’ve received Christ, you’ve been made alive. Eph. 2:1 ”And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins” Through faith, you can draw that life our of your spirit into your soul and body. Philem 1:6 “I pray that your participation in the faith may become effective through knowing every good thing that is in us for the glory of Christ.” Eph. 4:23-24 you are being renewed in the spirit of your minds; you put on the new self, the one created according to God’s likeness in righteousness and purity of the truth.” going from sinner to saint. Eph 2:8-9 For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift not from works, so that no one can boast.”There are 2 parts to this: grace and faith. You are not saved by grace alone or everyone would be saved. The person must believe and appropriate God’s grace to be saved. He is a grace teacher, but there is a balance needed. Grace means unmerited favor. Jesus said more people will chose the broad way and wide gate, and be lost, than the narrow gate leading to life. Matt.7:13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who go through it.” Chap. 6 Mark 11:22-4 can mislead you, in that God will give you the power to do only what he has already promised, like healing, or salvation or being prosperous in legal ways. He is not going to bless you in robing a bank. For things like healing, its not a mater convincing God to give you a healing, he already has, Its a matter of by faith you will reach out and take it! IF you are praying for someone else, there needs to be some degree of faith on their part, or openness, then your faith can carry them. Healing can be compared to God- the power company, sending power to your house; you flip the switch and it tuns on the light. Its Gods power, but he had put a path for it in your born again spirit. IF you pray by begging God in some unbelief, you may see no result. Then people make false excuses, like it wasn’t His will. We need to command the healing as in Matt 8:8-9, or 16. Some healings may take some time, but you need to ask God about this,(doing as he directs) and if directed, wait expectantly, praising God for the healing, and affirming his word. Isa. 45:11 “This is what the Lord says, the Creator of the signs: “Question me about my children, or give me orders about the work of my hands.” Chap. 7 Gods Best He told the story of NIki who believed in gradual healing, and suffered until she took God’s full healing. “Niki Ochenski the story of a miracle” Bing Videos .She believed God would heal in the future and passively waited for yrs. for this, but only got worse. Once she heard Andrew’s teaching that Jesus had already healed you and Andrew prayed for her, she was instantly healed. God does do some gradual healings, but his best are quick ones. We need to believe God as already healed us and claim it. Andrew says we can have Gods financial prosperity also, but we must work as God directs for this and believe. Deut 8:8, 18 “Be careful to observe every command that I’m instructing you today, in order that you may live, increase, and enter and take possession of the land that the Lord promised” because the Lord your God is bringing you to a good land— It’s a land filled[ with wheat, barley, vines, fig trees, and pomegranates. It’s a land filled with olive oil and hone” Rev. 12:11 “Our brothers conquered him(our enemies) by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony,” Heb.10:23-25 “Let us continue to hold firmly to the hope that we confess without wavering, for the one who made the promise is faithful. And let us continue to consider how to motivate one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another even more as you see the day of the Lord coming nearer.” Chap. 8 The Spirit View. We’re already blessed with spiritual blessings( Eph1). We have the same power that raised Jesus Christ form the dead living on the inside of us. To get these blessings we must respond in a positive way to what God has already done. Still many wonder how can this be and it overloads their circuits. They say here is my Drs. report and I have pain and other symptoms in my body. It doesn’t seam right to me. The answer is that it is all true in the spirit realm. When I was born again Jesus became my righteousness as in 1Cor. 1:30. 2 Cor. 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come.” We have 3 parts: spirit, soul and body-1Thes. 5:23 John 6:63 ”The Spirit is the One who gives life. The flesh doesn’t help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.” As we believe and call forth our blessing or healing from the spirit to our soul(mind and emotions), it manifests in our body. 1 John 4:17 “In this, love is perfected with us so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, for we are as He is in this world.” 2Cor.3:18 talks of our spiritual mirror, and also being dowers of the word. Rom 8:6 says to not be carnally minded. Chap. 9 The Spirit Realm. Here is an example of how spiritual truth overcomes physical truth: Elisha had visions to give the King of Israel advance warning of the King of Syria‘s plans. Then Syria sent troops to surround and kill Elisa. 2 Kings 6:14-15 Elisha’s servant saw the troops and was afraid but not Elisha, He prayed to the Lord who told him to blind the troops, which he did. He then led them to the King of Israel . Physical and spiritual truths don’t often agree. If you believe, speak and act on spiritual truth, It will overcome physical truth. Ps. 91:11-12 “For He will give His angels orders concerning you, to protect you in all your ways. They will support you with their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone” Many people are dominated by carnal minds, and our 5 natural senses. We must be open to the spiritual leads. The spiritual world is not fake; it created the physical world. Heb. 11:3 Chap.10 Where God moves. God may start to move and then have a delay due to the devil’s influence. As a new testament believer, God has given us power and authority. With that comes responsibility. James 4:7 ‘Therefore, submit to God;. But resist the Devil, and he will flee from you.” One needs to recognize the devil’s attack and command him to flee. Chap. 11 God uses people to bless you; you need to do some work and reach out to them. Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you; a good measure pressed down, shaken together, and running over- will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.” Ps. 35:27 “The Lord be exalted. He takes pleasure in His servant’s well-being.” Believe your prayer will be answered. In one example it helped to pray, to Satan be bound as he can block another persons gift. In a healing example it helped to ask the person why they were blind, and then pray for a miracle. Also you need to persist in prayer. Chap. 12 Unbelief John G. Lake was a famous healer, healing over 100,000. When asked why some don’t get healed, he said it was often due to passivity in receiving, and not understanding God’s already done it. In Mark 8:22-6 Jesus was healing a blind man in Bethsaida. When the man requested healing he first led him to walk out of town, likely due to the unbelief there. In the first prayer there was partial healing. Jesus asked how he sees, and prayed a 2nd time and got full healing. He then instructed him not to go back into town and not tell any only there. Also in Nazareth Jesus did only a little healing, due to the unbelief. This demonstrates that there must be some degree of belief by the receiving person. So this is a model; lf the first prayer doesn’t fully succeed, ask the person as the spirit leads; Satan or unbelief may be there blocking. John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal, slaughter, and destroy” If a healed person goes back to unbelieving churches or relatives he can loose his healing. Chap. 13 The Battlefield John 4:24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” The battle is in the spirit realm; spiritual warfare. The devil is a liar and tries to deceive us. He can hinder what we have in the spirit realm from manifesting in the physical. Eph. 6:10-12 “Finally, be strong in the Lord, relying on his mighty strength. Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the Devil’s strategies. For our struggle is not against human opponents, but against rulers, authorities, cosmic powers in the darkness around us, and evil spiritual forces in the heavenly realm.“ 2 Cor. 11:3 “However, I am afraid that just as the serpent deceived Eve by its tricks, so your minds may somehow be lured away from sincere and pure devotion to the Messiah.” Acts 10:38 “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and because God was with him, he went around doing good and healing everyone who was oppressed by the Devil.” If we allow it, the devil can bring sickness. 2 Cor. 10:3-5 ”For though we live in the body, we do not wage war in an unspiritual way, since the weapons of our warfare are not worldly, but are powerful through God for the demolition of strongholds. We demolish arguments and every high-minded thing that is raised up against the knowledge of God, taking every thought captive to obey Christ.” Chap. 14 Delivered Andrew tells of his methods of delivering people from evil spirits, that can cause, sickness, emotional problems and possession. If one focuses too much on the devil and fear of him, it empowers him. Luke 8:29-30 ‘For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. Many times it had seized him, and though he was guarded, bound by chains and shackles, he would snap the restraints and be driven by the demon into deserted places.” In this case, Jesus did ask for the demons name, but Andrew has found that praising God, and focusing on Him and commanding the demons out is enough to clear the person. One must remained focused on God and not fear the demon. Mark 1:23-25 ”Just then a man with an unclean spirit was in their synagogue. He cried out, “What do You have to do with us, Jesus; But Jesus rebuked him and said, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” It’s Ok to do a deliverance prayer, but our main focus needs go be on God and his lead. Chap. 15 Be Triumphant. By Jesus cross and resurrection he stripped Satan of most of his power.. note Col. 2:13-15 and Heb. 2;14-15 “Now since the children have flesh and blood in common, Jesus also shared in these, so that through His death He might destroy the one holding the power of death-that is, the Devil- and free those who were held in slavery all their lives by the fear of death. If we have fear of the devil, it will empower him. His main power is deception. Heb. 7:24-5 ”But because He remains forever, He holds His priesthood permanently. Therefore, He is always able to save those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede for them.” In the new testament and covenant Jesus is always for us believers. 2 Cor 5:19 “That is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed the message of reconciliation to us.” Still when people hate God and become mean and selfish, crime and problems escalate. Tragedies and terrorist attacks can happen. God will help us cope with this. We are to preach the truth as in John 8:32, which is the antidote for deception. IN casting out demons, one must also preach the truth to the person, so that the demons won’t return. Chap.16 Proclaim the Word. Here he makes a case for proclaiming the word as opposed to just doing spiritual warfare, against evil and demons. Paul did this in Ephesus (see Acts 19) which was known for the pagan god Diana. Instead of rebuking Diana, he preached the gospel. 2 Tim. 3:16-4:2 ”All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus, — Proclaim the message; persist in it whether convenient or not; rebuke, correct, and encourage with great patience and teaching.” Some think San Francisco (SF) has demonic powers that contribute to the homosexuality(hs) and perversion there. He thinks the homosexuality came first and then the demonic state. Many hs moved there and gained legislative power and made laws favoring them, making it a haven for hs. Preaching the gospel with grace is the answer, not spiritual warfare. In the new covenant, every person will answer for his own sins and not generational ones. Ezek. 18:2-4 and 20 supports this. Europe is becoming spiritually dark with TV programs censoring his messages and programs. France has passed laws making it illegal to evangelize, and if you prayed for someones healing, you could be put in jail for this. Chap 18 Put Your faith to work. Luke 17:6 “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed,” the Lord said, “you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.” Jesus did many miracles with disciples, but when he told them to forgive 7 times in a day, they said increase our faith, as in Luke 17:3 Believers already have enough faith. Faith comes by hearing the word of God. Rom. 10:14-17 How beautiful are the feet of those who announce the gospel of good things! But all did not obey the gospel. For Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed our message? So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the message about Christ.” Chap 19 Supernatural Faith Receiving salvation is like that. 1Peter 1:23 ”since you have been born again-not of perishable seed but of imperishable-through the living and enduring word of God.” Gal. 2:16 ”yet we know that a person is not justified by doing what the Law requires,
