My Background: Got a MS in christian ministry, Dr in engr. and was a research scientist for yrs. and worked at 2 health depts. I did a 2010-11 book on apologetics; and a 2020 revision. As a research scientist, I published many scientific papers and reports. For a while part of my job was to review all the literature on some narrow topic, organize it and summarize it, giving reference citations for everything I said. My book on apologetics is largely just that. A summary of the most of the major books on apologetics, citing references for the different views. For the last couple yrs I have also taken an interest in truth in the media, since the time the term “fake news” was used. You can note my Truth papers 1, 2 on the web site. Truth1 talks of truth definitions from philosophy, and explores the christian world view versus other world views and philosophy’s. Truth2 delves into discernment, truth in the news, and in journalism, and detecting lies. Truth 3 will address recent news of health and environmental concern and alternate media.
Do you think truth is important in the bible? A search revealed it used 176 times in the bible. John 8:32 You will know the truth and it shall set you free. Lie is used over 200 times and in Jn 8:44 it says the devil is the father of lies.
It is my opinion that the top news media was even more biased during yr 2020 with the covid-19 and the elections towards the left and liberal side. They largely promote the vaccines by the major pharmaceutical companies and minimize or discredit other approaches to prevention or treatment. I began researching the virus and its treatments at about 1 hr per day in early 2020, and also the riots in democratic cities.
The they largely omit any stories that are negative towards the liberal democratic side. For example, the riots in the democratic cities were hardly covered by the major media. There was a major media clip showing rioters with burning buildings behind and the journalist said “the riots are mostly peaceful demonstrations”. I will give my opinion on the election and candidates: Before 2011 I was registered as democratic. After that I was voting for the best candidate and often registered republican. I was somewhat anti-trump in early 2020 and had read some anti trump books, and then some conservative books. The conservation books and the fact that many christian organizations supported trump due to the abortion and same sex marriage issues, swung me the pro trump conservative side. Also I favor law and order, supporting the police, and not defunding the police. S. Powell reports and M. It seams to me that Biden is seldom asked difficult questions by the press( he was often asked about his dog or wonderful marriage)and doesn’t hold open news conferences as other presidents have where difficult questions with opposing views to his are fielded. Also the major media before the election did not appear to fully explore was the Hunter laptop and Joe Biden scandals with China. The standard press line was that it was all Russian disinformation. Also Facebook, youtube and twitter has banned some highly conservative views, so a need for alternate media has occurred. So any news other than the new vaccine is wonderful, and so is Biden, may often get you banned from the major media. Here are some of the new alternate media sites:, newsmax, bitchute, parlor, telegram, brighteon, Frank, Rumble. The Epoch times. Also one can use duckduckgo and a search engine rather than Google. I believe we need discernment in our truth seeking today. The bible mentions this 10 times. We ask for discernment from God in reading the Bible, don’t we?. We also need it in interpreting the news. One book on apologetics offers steps for teaching discernment: “Mama Bear Apologetics” Here are some of the Mama Bear steps that are simple and lead to some discernment. I think they are relevant today because it is easy to sit back and accept what the major media says rather than doing fact checking and questioning. The 1st 3 steps to discernment are. 1. Recognize the message, 2. offer discernment ( affirm the good and reject the bad), and 3. argue ( give reasons for) the best approach. In the first step one also needs to fact check and ask what is the motivation behind the message given, and also to pray for discernment. Mama Bear suggests doing this as a family with youth involved. The Bible supports truth and notes it is a sin to lie or bear false witness. I had prepared a separate lesson for youth on this. The MamaBear book summary is on my we site. We are given many messages by media: movies, tv shows, star athlete’s clips, the main stream news, government leader clips ect. ,where we need discernment. Just because you hear the same message from government leaders and the major news doesn’t make it true.

For about the past yr, I have felt the misleading in the news and government was so bad that I made it a practice of spending up to 2 hrs a day searching for truth in the news relative to topics like- Immigration at the south border, the corono virus, treatment for the virus , the vaccine, and earth and climate changes changes, truth in the media. So I read and save in files the news clips, videos ,etc. If I hear the same or confirming message by 4-5 different scientists or medical experts, with some documentation, I note this. One should try to note If the presenter has something to sell- a political narrative, books, or news web site building. What I present below is a result of my research and documentation. I will now progress to some more speculative topics, that are important because they could involve economic problems, lock-downs and possibly life and death for us. I have been doing research on this but am no expert on it.

  1. Illegal immigrants by the thousands being bused and flown into US cities, mainly from our southern border. Even into Chattanooga. What could be the effects of this and why is it being done? Of course the main media doesn’t cover it. Criminals may come and cartels make big money on this. Possible effects: loss of amer. jobs, drain on the economy, schools, hospitals, increased crime and illegal drugs, spread of variants of the virus due to very lose quarters and holding, increased terrorism as terrorists can easily enter. Possible reasons: more demo. voters, wanting to provoke a reaction from the right. How many have recently come in? Some estimate 3 million+ from Jan 19- to June 30.
  2. Was the original covid virus made in a lab to be dangerous and was released by accident or on purpose and that is why it is so potent? Some experts think so; see the links. Dr. Madej and others note that the usual annual flu vaccine we get is a weakened or killed virus(natural). That is not the case with the mRNA vaccines. They have not isolated the original COVID-19, so similar computer generated codes and other artificial ingredients were used. The actual ingredients of the new covid-19 vaccines are proprietary and not completely revealed to the medical community.
    The experts on the links say the recent vaccines(mRNA codes) are mainly good for the original virus and not for the new variants? Could a vaccinated person then be more susceptible to the new variants? This could be due to ADE(antibody dependent enhancement). So why is the government now recommending vaccine booster shots ? Can the codes injected affect major organs and fertility over time and your DNA? There is anecdotal evidence of this. My 5/21 check of the VAERS website showed that about 4500 people in the US have died from getting the covid vaccines; Recently some airline pilots. Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) Almost 6000 dead in VAERS at June 30. Other vaccines have been pulled from the market at much much lover death rates. Some Drs. & the W.H.O. say no youth to getting the 2nd covid shot due to possible heart problems.

    3.Could the vaxed people shed spike proteins and some of the vaccine components to others? The links above say it is possible.
  3. Why do vaxed people show some unusual magnetism, even some electromagnetic radiation? Magnetic hydrogells or nanoparticles and technology does exist. Profusa and DARPA have developed them. It is a secret what this magnetism does in the vaxed persons.
    5..Are there any natural broad spectrum antivirals ,or vitamins to help the immune system? Or are there any treatments or meds that are not covered much by the media, that are effective or helpful? How about nanosilver? I will only touch the surface of this topic. There is some documentation that nanosilver is a broad spectrum antiviral, that stops replication of viruses when taken in the proper dosages. I do take it twice daily. Some have recommended vitamin D.,L-Lysine, N-Acetyl Cysteine. I take these 1-2 times a wk. I also occasionally take some immune system builders from swanson vitamins. Some studies have suggested dexamethasone, hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin. In the summer of 2020 some Drs. came on the main line news saying these worked, but they were quickly squelched. There are a number of links on this, but the evidince appears anecdotal. One link said India used it some. On August 23, 2020, the FDA issued an EUA for convalescent plasma for the treatment of hospitalized patients with COVID-19.   4. Are cloth masks effective for viruses? In my view, the mesh size is way too big to catch nano particles and viruses. The seal on a often used cloth mask is very poor compared to an N95 mask. I have worn both. Still the masks would help stop some saliva from a cough.
  5. Is the frequency of volcanoes increasing? Is the west coast in danger due to quakes?
  6. Is the western US and some other states having a severe drought? And will food prices likely rise?
