Introduction: Wokeness is not only in California and NY, but is also the official ideology of the federal government. Its essentially a religion that liberals have no embarrassment about. Pg xii Conservatives(C) need to change their attitude to fight it. Here is why C‘s are loosing and have a wrong view and approach. 1. C Care Less About it-they ignore it. But we really need to fight it. 2. C are Scared. The cancel culture looms large. The Liberals may call them racists, sexist or some other bigot. We need not be swayed by these labels which are false. 3-4 C are Lazy. Even when we know the left is up to no good, we do little about it. Even though C controls many state and local governments, they don’t do much about it. 5. C are Defeatists, letting easily defeated enemies to win, even though logic and facts are on C’s side. 6. C become controlled by the left, they accept the the new moral framing words and identity politics that needs to be challenged. C hasn’t learned how to fight properly to win. pg xiii Are colleges, government offices, and grant programs honeycombed with radicals? Defund them! Are schools hopelessly left wing? Empower parents to fight them. Are businesses and organizations engaging in flagrant discrimination in the name of “equity”? Ban it and punish the businesses. pg xiv
Chap 1 The Threat 60 yrs ago America was changed forever through transformations that ended segregation in schools, restaurants, and public transportation and even in marriage. The country aspired to the Declaration of Independence where it stated “All men are created equal” But then more recently the government went further with a new social justice campaign of new discrimination of favoring blacks over whites, and focusing on race , and thus reversing the idea of we are created equal. At colleges, black housing and black graduation is back and statues of democratic leaders like Thomas Jefferson and even Abraham Lincoln are being removed. Now race based reparations are being considered and used in California. Standards and scores in college and professional tests are being lowered to allow blacks to pass easily. This is for teachers, Lawyers and fire fighters. in some liberal states. In NY funds were set aside to pay off possible teachers who flunked the test, and no teaching was required. Governments have set contract quotas that must go to disadvantaged businesses. For the US Dept of Transportation under Buttigieg it was 21%, in Chicago it was 26%, in Maryland 29% , in NY city 30%. In the bidding, the winning company doesn’t have to be the best option, but just be “diverse. ” p 16 Forced Transgender care is becoming popular in several states” California, Washington and Oregon where they can take your child age 13 or older and transition them to the opposite sex, without the parent’s consent. The clinics for pediatric sex changes have over a few yrs grown from zero to 100. p18 Many states now promote men in women’s sports. In 2016 Soros began funding very liberal District attorneys(DA), that did not prosecute criminals much for the sake of promoting equity. In 2020 America’s murder rate increased by 30% for several months. Kirk notes that the Liberal DAs had a very low prosecution rate and and some of the criminals were released early and recommitted crimes.p. 20-21 Chap 2 What is Woke? Perhaps the first example of being woke is Satan driven by pride, rebelling against God. In black slang woke describes someone woken up to important issues especially concerning racist,pg 25. Some think wokeness erupted in 2013 with the election of Barack Obama as after his election he instituted a number of crazy racial policies and the Washington Post talked of it. Others think it was promoted on college campuses in the 1980s- 1990s with Marxism ideology being taught. This is a brain washing effort that takes decades to develop. Wokeness has some resemblance to the French Revolution; With hysterical reactions to word choice, Weponization to eradicate personal foes, use of high flown language about the fake liberty and democracy. Back then getting canceled involved the guillotine. Woke are often selfish and easily frustrated. It has an obsession with race, sex and sexuality. Diversity programs have been a key way of promoting it and using quotas, for the so called under privileged, p 30-31. It creates a moral hierarchy where some groups are simply better that others; female is better that male, immigrant is better that native born, gay is better than straight, black race is better than white. Wokeness sees all disparities as proof of wrongdoing. If more blacks are going to prison the whites, it must be due to systemic racism by the police. Wokeness is selfish and resentful. Leftist see people with more money that them as bad and crave to have the money. It is well known then envy drives socialism. Wokeness is promoted by indoctrination in these ideas and principles, where there is no dissent or rational rebuttal allowed( they are shouted and name called down). So now there are millions of believers in it especially in the liberal states. Elon Musk had to fire a large % of Twitter employees after the acquisition in 2022, because they were steeped in woke liberalism and trained in censoring anti woke speech. The new term for non-heterosexuals keep growing and changing, First is was GLB( gay, lesbian, bisexual) that changed to LGB, to put women first. then T was added for transsexual, then Q added, and now there are 15 letters. Wokeness tries to collect any perceived injustices and offenses so they can present them to diversity, DEI, offices, HR departments, and courts. They love to make videos of themselves having injustice meltdowns- sobbing, and screaming, and getting mad at their offenders. ( do you see this today in the liberal politicians?). Normally that bratty behavior would get you nowhere. Wokeness teaches people to overreact to any provocation, to always act like its the end of the world, that way powerful authorities may submit. Wokeness is very concerned with thought and speech control. It used to be yrs ago, liberals were for free speech, but not now. Now they want quick censorship. Now Democrats favor criminal bans of ‘Hate speech’ whatever that is? Police have investigated people with signs saying ‘its OK to be white’. Is saying ‘blue (police) lives matter’ hate speech? The left would say so. Also the various media has been quick to label and censor speech as disinformation, if it disagrees with a government position. Some of the values of wokeism have become so divorced from basic physical reality that only a totalitarian approach can keep people believing it. The woke assert that a man can take some hormones, put on a dress, amputate his testicles and cave a wound in his tummy for a vagina( with a government subsidy) and then is a woman. This isn’t just false, its ridiculous. In reality they are confused and troubled with a possible mental illness. To perpetuate this lie they need censorship of speech. Wokeness is feeling based. some of these feelings are entitlement, bitterness, envy and craving for attention. Now questioning if a child should have gender transition ( sex change) can be considered child abuse in some states. What they use to justify this is mostly feelings not facts. They also use the phrase “their lived experience” rather than facts. What about the feelings of women when a changed man goes into their bathroom? They often claim to feel unsafe, but it can be fake and they often are the source of violence and riots on campuses, p 38. Wokeness is predatory: They favor the cancel culture; they look for a rival’s past tweets, sometimes from a decade ago, and then publicize it as terrible, unthinkable; and demand destruction of the rivals career, an apology is never enough. Woke cancelers always want something, changes in law or policy, or notoriety. Wokeness tries to influence bureaucracies, and legal interpretations and HR regulations to their favor. Very few woke laws are passed but discovered by court cases. The 1964 Civil Rights Act bans discrimination on the basis of sex, but the lawmakers weren’t thinking of transgender (T)then. The T word became coined in 1965. In 2010 the woke sued and the supreme court decided that that it also banned transgender discrimination and it gave the woke a new mandate. Now businesses are forced to espouse, practice and celebrate woke values. The federal government bureaucracy have forced this on businesses; they are threatened with fines for violations and the regulations are at times unclear.
So how can this Wokeness be overcome? 1. It can be beaten with some masculine energy. Wokeness appeals to women and they are more likely to be woke. Male traits are resilience, rigidity, and strength. It means recognizing manipulative, attention-seeking behavior and not rewarding it by trying to please or conform. In essence wokeness succeeds by throwing tantrums; If a child throws a tantrum in public, do you reward him? NO. The woke are grievance collectors, who recite ways they are victims, and by memorizing all the wrongs society has done to them. There are often lies at the heart of their whining. You can question their reasoning or say you are sorry they feel that way , but refuse to give into their demands. People who whine and complain a lot and are bitter have a negative effect on their own health. 2. Wokeness can be beaten by controlling the tone and not giving into demands. So someone said something offensive to you? You can say- I’m sorry to hear that, that was rude. You can remind them that bearing a grudge is actually bad for your health. 3. Wokeness can be resisted by making ourselves better (my idea- and promoting positive thinking and kindness. Wokeness ropes in the bitter, the angry, the miserable and keeps them stuck there. We need to teach strengthening ourselvesoursleves,g so easily offended, recognizing that God loves us, and it better for all to be kind and not vindictive. 4. wokeness opposed by defanging bureaucracies. Clear cut standards are needed in regulations based on up or down votes. The woke like vague laws subject to endless challenges and redefinition. For businesses lawsuits are expensive. 5. There is often bad faith on the part of the Woke. What they want is often not what is good for everyone. When the make demands don’t look for compromises or ways to satisfy their demands. Reject their demands or put them off for study. The long term progress of woke agenda is not good a number of reasons to be explored in the next chapter. Chap. 3 Drag+ Now legalized through Judicial fiat: gay marriage, gay adoption, sex change, Drag show for kids in Libraries. Tucker Carlson a former Fox news anchor noted in the spring of 202that the us Military was rolling out flight suits so pregnant women could wear them. He claimed its inappropriate, and then got much criticism for the military. Traditionally the US military was not political, but Biden changed that ordering a woke agenda. Mark Miley called out against white racism and creating a DEI office in the military also calling for funding of transgender surgeries in the military and quotas for LBG promotions. The CIA and FBI also became politicized with the Russia hoax and the FBI quotas – for domestic extremism- Catholics and school boards. The Boy scouts were forced to admit girls and change their name. Chap 4 Escape the Frame the US advertisers use framing to portray a product well, but its also deceiving. This is also used in politics and in the woke agenda. Dive and DEI is not really good in the way its used. It has forced quotas which is racial discrimination. Hate speech is a new woke term. The previous terms like incitement to violence, frauds and threats are better and are not race based but more factual. Affirmative action is not really that, its again discrimination against white or Asians or conservatives. Gender affirming care is really coached, forced sex changes for boys and girls with harmful drugs and surgeries often funded by the government. You can’t really create a male vagina or a female penis; it leads to harmful problems. people who perform the maiming procedures are profiteers and deserve criminal sentences for child abuse. Most woke moral arguments are shams,p 74 Chap. 5 Being called a racist is par for the course. Kirk gave some examples of people that have been slammed by the left for speaking a ‘bad’ word and called a racist, which is the most common attack. There was time when the US was racist but that has mostly changed now., and the attacks are often factually weak, but exaggerated. A defense often used was that- I have a black friend, but its often dismissed. Any apology for use of a ‘bad’ word is taken as admission of guilt of racism. Now the definition of racism is a moving target, and almost anything qualifies for an accusation. for example questioning a persons background, Like where are you from? Believing in Meritocracy (the most qualified person should get the job), asking someone to quiet down. Prior to 2020 Juneteenth was an minor regional holiday often noted in Texas. After Biden made it a national holiday in 2020, a yr later in 2021 60% of americans new almost nothing about it.( it was to commemorate the end of slavery in the US). Now its and day for some to denounce America as racist. pg 69. Unfair policing of crime is often attacked by the left. However statistics show that the US black neighborhoods usually have the most crime; For example in Minneapolis about 19 % of the population is black, but in 2021, 89% of the shooting victims and 89% of the shooting perpetrators were black. Still the lest says the police are systemically racist, even though most big police departments are racially integrated. Its difficult for those on the right to ever prove they are not racist. We need to fight our valid cause with bravery and firmness and not give into their attracts. On the issue of transgender surgeries and women in girls sports, many state easily passed laws against it in 2020 and 2023. When the left scream we were racist or transphobic we ignored them. We on the right are on the side that rejects racism, and quotas, discrimination and favoritism. We believe in objective merit, standards and truth. Chap 6 Curing Red state laziness. Kirk gives examples of expansion of DEI offices and programs and funding in Red states including Oklahoma, TN, Kansas , and Ohio.( other states could be added). The same has occurred in their universities, with woke agendas being promoted that could be controlled by the State. The state could have easily taken steps to limit this, but didn’t. This is partly due to the state legislators being unaware this is occurring and not wanting to make waves. The net result is more Woke trained students are being released and they are winning the battle. This promotion of socially corrosive, anti christian, and evil ways should not be allowed and funded. On the surface DEI language sounds good, but in practice it is evil, and needs to be opposed. Chap. 7. Reject Defeat, Advocacy works People on the right are predisposed to believe we have been loosing to the woke left, maybe its hopeless. Its easier to be lazy and and do nothing with expectation of loss. We have lost some battles, but also have won some, when we mobilize and advocate. Negative thinking is self defeating. Wm. Buckley was active against communism as was the US; so in 1991 the USSR dissolved and a number of counties were freed from soviet control. p.109 and widipedia. IN the early 1900’s public schooling (PS) was almost universal,and in 1973 only 13,000 kids were being home schooled(HS). But as the PS became more liberal and of lower quality. Also laws required going to PS, but in 1972 and 78 the courts overturned this allowing HS. By 1998, 850,000 were in HS and in 2016, 1.7 million in HS. In many other countries HS is illegal. Relative to the 2nd amendment and gun rights, its improved. In 1986 16 states had no right to carry a concealed firearm.( including TN, Ark , KY,, OK, AZ ,and TX). In the 2000’s gun rights advocacy took place. In 2010 36 states were permit states and in 2023, 27 states have unrestricted carry. On abortions advocacy made a difference, but its still a battle. In 2022 the Supreme Court reversed the old Roe Wade decision and many states have passed some abortion restriction laws. Advocacy and law suits and new laws have made the difference, even against much public opinion. There is a word used by activists on the Left- Praxis. It means doing- so strong advocacy, and that is what has led to their success. What has led to the rights success is the same Praxis- effort, strategy, organization. With advocacy we can win fights for election integrity and against pro-trans laws and regs and woke mandates. For a half century the federal Hyde Amendment has barred federal funding for abortions; however every yr. it has to be renewed. Also the Weldon amendment had barred the Feds from discriminating against anti-abortion health care providers. In 2023 the Supreme Court ruled that Harvard’s and Univ. of N.C. affirmative action regs. and racial quotas were unconstitutional. Thus, with advocacy we can win fights for election integrity and against pro-trans. laws or regs. and woke mandates. pg. 115. We need to let our law-makers know what we are for more. The Right can win, if we put in the effort p. 116. Chap. 8 Hate the game but play by its rules. Kirk campaignedcampaigneddates in 2022 but they lost, and the left outplayed him. In basketball team behind near the end, will often foul to slow the pace and force free throws. The left used mail in ballots, and drop boxes with low security. They also collected votes from nursing homes and did other ballot harvesting. Kirk had encouraged in person voting on election day. The AZ voting machines were often not working correct and there were very long lines on election day. Many red votes were not counted. If this happens again we should also do ballot harvesting and early voting. In 2023 Kirk paid for and used ballot harvesting in Wisconsin and that help the win. Using a business boycott can be very effective to limit some woke policies When Anhesser Bush used a transgender add for Bud Light we did a boycott, and it worked cutting Bud’s sales and causing reform. This also helped with Target store adds. What not to do: Rioting with some damage as for Jan.6 was not good and did not reflect good values. Don’t talk about retribution for the left crimes, just use the legal means. Part 3 Changing the country Chap 9 Unmasking the Civil Rights Scam. The 1964 Civil Rights act, title 7 banned racial, religious and sex based discrimination by large private employers. Senator Goldwater said this would require a large gov. police force to enforce. C. Caldwell in his 2020 book ‘the age of entitlement’ that this law with the court decisions has become so powerful that it has almost replaced the constitution. Where we once had equality under the law, we now have affirmative action.;once had freedom of expression, but now political correctness, and being woke; once had limited government, and now a regime of social engineering. Caldwell says the Act only banned intentional and overt discrimination and equal treatment under the law, not equal outcomes. Now the government tells states, businesses, and schools that they must do reverse discrimination achieving equal outcomes. An army of bureaucrats reinterpreted the law. Disparate Impact is a concept that came from a supreme court case of Griggs vs. Duke Power Co. The company would allow blacks to transfer to a better job if the had a HS school diploma of passed a certain intelligence test. Many blacks failed and sued. The court ruled that since many blacks failed and it wasn’t closely related to job duties, it had a disparate impact based on race. This principle has been more widely applied. Men are usually stronger than women so a job requirement requiring a certain strength can be a disparate impact for women. Armed with this principle, the EEOC Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, ruled p. in 2012, that companies could not categorically refuse to hire convicted felons, because blacks are more likely to have a felony conviction. p 137. On the basis of race, or sex or past history, many classes of people have differences, and jobs do have different skill and safety requirements. Thus literally 100’s of disparities could be found. But the EEOC just picks certain ones to enforce. From this vague general principle the employer does not know how to cope. HR and DEI offices have become very powerful and most big offices feel it necessary to have them. If anyone speaks against their woke policies, they may get in trouble.p 138 So here freedom och to correct things in a good factual way is not allowed. So now affirmative action( with some favoritism) is the law, but is is really discrimination based on race or sex. In 2015 the Obama white house ordered K-12 schools to scale back suspensions for violent or disruptive behavior because suspended students were more likely to have some disability that violated the rehabilitation act of 1973. It could have been motivated to favor blacks, as the interpretation is vague. IN 2009 the DOJ’s civil rights Div. investigated the Seattle police Dept. accusing them of disparities in police stops. The DOJ supervised their activities and for yrs and the Seattle crime rate went to an all time high. Other cities like Baltimore and Chicago also had this experience. p141. Biden civil rights also got involved in the homosexual- men to men- blood donations after The FDA limited this due to HIV transmission concerns. Biden lifted the FDA action. Kirk noted that no campaign against wokeness has a shot without confronting some of the civil rights laws. Having conservative judges also helps. The 1965 voting rights act had some good provisions, but also some bad ones. The democratic DOJ had a provision to limit any change in states voting laws. Thus the blocked Texas from requiring voter ID’s and Arizona’s voting redistricting maps. p.144 But the red states fought back with the courts, and got a decision to no longer allow the Feds to over regulate this. So some legal fighting back helps. Now additional fighting back has worked with some red states cutting back on DEI offices, and bans of some types of affirmative action requirements and some racial college admission quotas p146. Chap. 10 The Fed Revolution, This tells of what the Feds should do in 2025+ Repeal Exec. Order 11246 and 11478 of affirmative action and many other Biden EO’s. Impound some funds for woke causes p 151, 167. Reign in The Office of Management and Budget OMB that is quite powerful, also the National Security council. Use Schedule F for some new gov. employees who are under the white house control. Reform the Military to not be woke and DEI, but a good fighting force with good standards. Possibly use the insurrectioninsurectio07 to help control our borders from invasion. Reinstate the military lost due to Covid-19. Reform the DOJ and State Dept. Ban the critical race theory training EO 13950, and excessive DEI office funding and for some NGOS. Stop the excessive disinformation programs and favor free speechspeach. Alme Gov. lands to be used for farming, as much farm land has been lost. Congress should have less grandstanding and more cooperation and action. Encourage the courts to reverse the Disparate impact rulings. Chap 11 State actions and Laws for good. Almost 1/2 of the states are red and even if the federal gov. changes, states can pass laws favoring christian conservative policies. Police, school teachers and the DMV and other offices are state supervised. Its easier to contact and influence ones state officials than the federal ones. States have more freedom of action than do the Feds. Our watchwords, especially if you’re in a red state, should be energy, assertiveness, and action, not laziness. The blue states are very active in passing laws favoring woke liberal positions; the red states need to be just as active. pgs. 175-6 give a number of steps and laws to limit transgenderism (from teaching it, to doing the surgeries). Red state AGs are a good force. The Missouri state AG filed about 25 lawsuits against the Biden Gov. One suit brought down Biden’s forced vaccine mandates for companies; and another stopped the close intimidation of the social media companies to censor all speech against the Biden policies. The court issued a national injunction to stop this. Here is what Letitia James in NY did. She went after the NRA which had the misfortune of being incorporated in NY. She filed a law suit to dissolve the NRA and take all its donations. Most of the suit failed, but is cost the NRA millions. But now NRA’s campaign for republican candidates and political actions has been made impotent. She also went after president Trump as he had business in NY. On p. 179 Kirk notes Black Lives Matter has much fraud and a lot of funds and offices, so why not go after them? Kirk also hints that the Southern Poverty Law Center is big and likely has fraud, and is for the left’s causes. It’s office is in the- Red, Alabama. Hunter Biden also likely did crimes in Nashville and in Florida, p180. For the NY defamation suit of Jean Carrol against Pres., Trump the actions occurred in the 1990, beyond the statute of limitations; But in 2022, NY state passed a special law to give a one yr window to sue for old cases: Carrol sued the same day, after the law was passed. Trump was extradited from Fl to appear in NY. A state could pass a law to limit or make difficult extradition for what appears to be political purposes or to have the local police to not cooperate. IN effect this is what the sanctuary cities have done, to limit the police to aid ICE in any way, p 183.Thus red state sanctuaries are possible. For example Kyle Rittenouse was acquitted for his self defense in the Kenosha riots via criminal trial. Butt now he is facing 2 civil law suits on that case and if he looses them he could be given huge fines. If the state where he resides passes a law that no resident can be held civilly liable for civil charges in another state, when he was acquitted of that in a criminal trial. There was also the sad story of the case of Jake Gardener. He defended him self against robbers in his store; but then he was charged for murder by a left wing prosecutor in Nebraska. Nebraska(red) didn’t have a stand your ground law, that many red states do, then he would have to retreat when the robbers robbed his store. He then lost everything. Some red states have big city blue islands and DA’s. In St.Louis, A BLM mob attacked the McCloskeys home, they got slapped with felonies., this type of thing also happened in Dallas and in Tampa Fl. In Tampa A liberal DA refused to enforce Fl Laws baring late term abortions and and some transgender procedures. So then Gov. Ron Desantis removed him from office. State can pass laws, that if a DA does not prosecute a lot of cases, that the police brings to them, they can be removed from office. Police should have qualified immunity from prosecution for arrests, but why teachers? Some Blue states remove this immunity from police and give it to teachers. Some red states have also given teachers this; Then when the state passes a ban on teaching CRT, the teachers ignore the ban, as there is no enforcement. Some blue states and even the Feds have used choke points against conservatives; Obama used this to limit banks from giving conservatives loans, and NY used it against the NRA and also against web hosting companies; If they can’t stop one’s website, they try to influence the web host. Passing some quality of life laws help keep our cities clean of trash and homeless tents. San Francisco and other cities have become filthy and dangerous with the homeless. Texas H. B.20 passed in 2021, ; it restricts the power of big social media companies from censoring uses posts based on ideological content; but it may still be tied up in the courts. It has a good purpose. Red state AGs could use law to make it a crime to dox( post their personal info) people or to Swatt them ( call police to a person’s home at night for harassment).
Chap 12 Fighting wokeness Locally This is why atheist liberals get what they want; They want it more. Christians are mostly disengaged. Polls show atheists engage in political activities twice as much as Christians; They are also more politically engaged in education and in contacting elected officials. Do you want to win the battle? then you have to do the work,p 196. You need to know when and where your city council has meetings?; you need to attend some.The agenda may be posted in advance online. If you want to win a battle in warfare or politics, you need to get there first with the most. A few people early is worth a hundred after the big news is out. You need a team and some division of labor, one person can track the city council and another the school board, another on whats happening with crime. Find out who is politically engaged in your church,p 197. Form a group chat on twitter, Signal or FB or next door. What should be your goals? 1. Keep the city streets clean an safe. The first duty of Gov. is to keep people safe from evil doers. Woke love ugliness, filthy, disturbing , they like drag queens, and homeless drug addicts. In the summer and fall of 2020 Americas major cities, tent cities popped up, and there were burned out smashed and looted store fronts ,statues were knocked down. Police afraid of being called racist, let down on ‘quality of life’ enforcement and let vagrancy, graffiti and open air drug use explode.p 200. One form of ugly breeds another, more graffiti, then more crime, more homeless camps, then more murder. After George Floyd, there was much looting in Minneapolis, Chicago and Wash. DC. It helps if streets and parks and city buildings are clean and well kept. Make sure the woke agenda is not in your schools. Support christian owned businesses, as the woke often sue them. To find them look at the PublicSq. app. Encourage single family homes(sfh) over large high rise apartments which the woke are attracted to. More of the sfh and subdivisions are conservatives. Home ownership scare. Become an elections worker or poll watcher or precinct leader ( the later helps get out the vote); in 2022 elections, Turing Point recruited 2000 of them. Even in blue cities you can have influence, has happened in San Francisco, where the liberal DA was ousted with the help of the Asian community, p 206. Chap. 13, Fixing Education Its often high in wokeness. About 5% of the U.S. GDP is for Education. Pass laws against gender ideology and anti-white Critical Race Theory (CRT) Rid the libraries of explicit sex books. Even the anti CRT laws are not enough, as woke teachers will try to hide it, and still teach it. Thus bad teachers need to be fired and replaced with good ones. p 211. In Fl Gov. DeSantis inventoried the DEI programs and defunded many of them. Most of the funding (90%) for K-12 schools is local. Typically local taxes go public schools on a per student basis. This would involve race based hiring and quotas and enlarged Dept. of Diversity and some Critical Race teaching, pgs. 98-98. Still the state legislator has a big majority of republicans. At state universities the board of Reagents or Trustees is mostly appointed by the governor, p 218.
